questions

So who made God?  Is the devil real? What happens when we die?

Evidences

Christianity is very unique among the religions of the world. It is the only religion/worldview that stands or falls on a fact of history. Simply put, if Jesus Christ was truly resurrected from the dead then Christianity is true. If Jesus was not truly resurrected from the dead, then Christianity is false. The Bible clearly acknowledges this dependence on the historical fact of the resurrection. “For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” (1 Corinthians 15:16–19)

But the good news is that there is a mountain of evidence establishing not only the fact of the resurrection, but also other critical elements of the Christian faith such as the existence of God, the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the creation of humanity, the possibility of miracles, and the historicity of Jesus Christ. Of course, many objections are raised against belief in God, creation, the Bible, and the resurrection.

The art and science of setting forth the evidences for the Christian faith and responding to objections is the discipline known as apologetics. No, it doesn't mean to say that you are sorry. The term comes from a Greek word meaning to "give an answer" or "defense" for one's belief or opinion. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. (1 Peter 3:15)
