2010: beginnings

Revive began in May 2010 as "Focus," a summer bible study for college students attending Second Baptist Church and Northway Baptist Church in Angleton. Over the course of the summer, Allen Thomas (SBC Youth Pastor), Mark Moore (NBC Youth Pastor), and Cody Holder (SBC Intern) led 15-20 college students in fellowship, acoustic worship, and a weekly bible study through the book of Nehemiah alternating between the two churches. 

In July 2010, the group decided to change its name to "Revive," and adopted our current logo. Plans were also made to attempt to start a student organization at Brazosport College beginning in the fall of 2010; however, the Lord had other plans.
